The Flight Instructors Association (FIA) is an organization dedicated to mentorship, education, and advocacy for flight instructors. FIA membership has a many benefits above and beyond staying educated and informed. Members of FIA can enjoy discounted pricing on different training and courses. The mission of FIA is to:
FIA will conduct conferences periodically, focused on the industry of flight training, bringing together flight schools, airlines, government officials, and others whose common interest is the flight training industry. Loaded with diverse session choices.
Every month FIA will email its popular, Flight Training News, to a wide audience of members, government officials, aviation and aerospace business persons and the interested public.
FIA will offer assistance and guidance to flight schools as their start up, develop and expand. The goal is to make each flight training institute safe & successful business.
FIA includes a committee structure which encourages members to participate and help develop programs and policies for the betterment of the industry
FIA is changing the face of aviation. FIA believes that the future of aviation and aerospace is with our young citizens and is dedicated to bringing unique youth-oriented programs to all communities in cooperation with local flight schools and member organizations. FIA invites all YOUNG INSTRUCTORS to join the organization. We are ever-committed to bringing you more and more content and programs as our youth movement grows.
Train The Trainer is the largest national campaign FIA has ever planned. Taking place periodically — Train the Trainer Month is a month-long initiative aimed at the flight instructors. FIA encourages every flight school to engage, not just FIA member.
The DE, CFI, DCFI Seminars brings DE, CFI, DCFI’s together every year to help standardization, help individuals who might be interested in becoming DE, CFI, DCFI’s learn more about the process and potential, and bring DGCA staff together with attendees to share information about DGCA efforts, DE, CFI, DCFI practices.
An Executive Committee of this AOP is formed consisting of a President
& Secretary with other selected members.
